Generally, it is advised to do some normal exercises immediately to ease the pain. However, this activities will do more harm than good since it will place additional strain on the back.
Correct sleeping postures are very important for the back Pain sufferers. It will be more comfortable to put a pillow between the knees when you lying on one side. And some doctors may suggest putting a pillow under the knees while lying on your back. Both of the sleeping postures are correct. It depends on you which adapts to you better.
As for the acute Back Pain sufferers, it is found that there is no an effective back pain exercise can ease the pain or just increase functional ability. However, for the chronic back pain sufferers, doing some exercises can help them back to the normal daily activities and work.
